GML
in the journal "Waste and Biomass Valorization" accepted on 16 Dec 2012, publisher link
http://link.springer.com/article/10.1007%2Fs12649-012-9193-8. A

The boundaries of the 4 local authorities studied in the paper are coloured red. Use your mouse wheel to zoom in and out and your left mouse button to move around. You can choose between OSM or Google background maps and you can turn the example for the bring-type collection system in the City of Landshut on and off by expanding the '+' sign on the right hand side of the map. You need to zoom into Landshut to see layers for city boundary and collection area for two example bins:

The yield data for the four local authorities are stored in the following spreadsheets:
    1) Open document *.odt format:
monthly_yield.ods (48 kB)
     2) Excel *.xls format: monthly_yield.xls (18 kB)
The spreadsheets have identical content.

The above map loads a locally stored *.gpx vector on an user selectable Openstreetmap or Google background. The map is generated using code  from the openlayers javascript library at http://www.openlayers.org. Should you have any problems viewing the map or downloading the above files, please contact the authors at either s.heaven(at)soton.ac.uk or ludwig.gredmaier(at)web.de.
